I am delighted to announce that I won a Silver medal at the recent RHS Botanical Art Show in London.   I exhibited six paintings entitled Kilmacurragh and the Plant Hunters.  Magnolia campbellii is depicted here.   I acknowledge grateful thanks to Culture Ireland for their help with travel costs.

  

 

ART CLASSES

I will be teaching the techniques of botanical watercolour at An Grianan in Co. Louth in August this year. Contact An Grianan at www.an-grianan.ie for further details.

Lavistown House in Kilkenny will be hosting a one day workshop in Botanical art on Saturday the 13th of July. See www.lavistownhouse.ie for further details.

I also teach a small class on a Monday afternoon in Booterstown. The class number is limited to 8 to allow for individual teaching time. At present the class is full but if you are interested in future classes please contact me.

GREETING CARDS

Greeting Cards are available for sale at Howbert & Mays, Monkstown, Co. Dublin www.howbertandmays.ie and at Gardenworld, Kilquade, Co. Wicklow and at the Country Market, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow every Saturday morning from 10.30 to 12.30pm.

Lynn is a botanical artist living and working in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.    She has specialised in botanical painting for the last eight years.   All the works featured are in watercolour and pencil.  A selection of paintings are available as greetings cards and as limited edition giclee prints.   Commissions are accepted.  Prices for  original work ranges from €250 to  €750.
